What QuickVisa does

QuickVisa provides document review, case preparation and procedural support for TM30 Consulting. The final decision is made by the competent Thai authority.

What TM30 is

TM30 is a residence notification to the Immigration Bureau: that a foreigner lives at a stated address. It is based on section 38 of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522. The legal duty is on the host — householder, landlord, hotel manager or other person who provides accommodation — usually within 24 hours of the foreigner moving in.

TM30 is not a visa, not an extension, not TM47 and not a land-title registration. Hotels normally file it themselves. For a rented flat the landlord, agent or juristic office often files. An owner-occupier foreigner is not excused from notification.

A correct TM30 is often required before a 90-day report, an extension or a residence certificate. Practice differs by office and by type of housing.

Service process

Initial case review → document checklist → document verification → application preparation → submission/appointment support where applicable → status follow-up.

What we need from the client

The exact checklist is case-specific. We first verify passport/immigration status, the legal basis of the application and supporting evidence required by the responsible authority.

What is required for TM30

The list below is the official-source baseline. The exact checklist depends on category, nationality, place of filing and responsible authority.

  • TM30 form for paper filing.
  • Copy of the foreign national's passport biodata page.
  • Copy of the latest arrival stamp.
  • Copy of visa page where applicable.
  • For online notification: address, check-in/check-out dates, passport number, name, nationality, gender, date of birth and telephone number.
  • For online accommodation registration: property/business-registration or house-registration evidence and, where an authorized person acts, power of attorney and relevant ID documents.
  • For registered-post filing, a receiver-addressed stamped envelope under the public handbook.
