What QuickVisa does

QuickVisa provides document review, case preparation and procedural support for LTR Visa. The final decision is made by the competent Thai authority.

What an LTR visa is

Long-Term Resident (LTR) is a Board of Investment (BOI) programme for selected foreigners: highly skilled professionals, remote workers of foreign companies, wealthy investors and wealthy pensioners aged 50+, plus a limited number of spouses and children.

The visa is designed as 10 years in two five-year stages if the holder still qualifies. Multiple entry is built in, so a Re-entry Permit is not required. Instead of a 90-day report, LTR uses a one-year report to TIESC. Work permission, where applicable, is handled in the LTR system.

LTR is not DTV, not Thailand Privilege, not permanent residence and not a property-purchase visa. Income, assets, insurance and employment conditions must be maintained for the whole visa term. Official filing is through the BOI LTR system.

Service process

Initial case review → document checklist → document verification → application preparation → submission/appointment support where applicable → status follow-up.

What we need from the client

The exact checklist is case-specific. We first verify passport/immigration status, the legal basis of the application and supporting evidence required by the responsible authority.

What the client needs for LTR

The list below is the official-source baseline. The exact checklist depends on category, nationality, place of filing and responsible authority.

  • Passport; BOI's current category checklists require a valid passport and, in specific checklists, at least 6 months' remaining validity and at least 2 blank pages.
  • Recent passport-size photograph on a white background.
  • Health-insurance/social-security evidence or an accepted bank-deposit alternative, depending on LTR category.
  • Category-specific income, asset/investment, employer, professional-status or qualification evidence.
  • For Highly-Skilled Professionals: CV, employment/service contract and evidence of target-industry experience where applicable.
  • Education/qualification evidence for categories where required.
  • TDAC/TM6 and Thai immigration passport pages where required by the current BOI checklist.
  • Certified/notarized English or Thai translation where original documents are in another language.
  • Additional documents according to the BOI checklist for the selected LTR category.
